- The Black Sox scandal is an entirely seperate issue. Those guys admitted to taking money from a known gambler. Some of the players got mad because he didn't pay the full amount and later said that they decided to not "throw" the rest of the series.

- I have been saying for years that there is a good solution. Allow him to be enshrined with a plaque and descriptions of his on field feats. Put a sentence in like,.... banned from the game for placing bets on baseball while a manager.

- If big business sucks the life out of our country who do you think puts the life in? The Federal Government? Products, pay checks, infastructure etc. are all produced by "big business". Tax the businesses and they pass it on to you. This will increase your living expenses.

you are sooo right,thank you! Tired of all these "know everything, smart as hell kids, which includes ours by the way, who think everyone over 50 is a "geezer". And the dems will save us all, yeah, right. Being from germany, i can honestly say that national health care WILL NOT WORK.
And who will pay for all that? sure, Obama bin Biden talk a good talk and seem to fool a lot of folks, but a good explanation on how they will get it done

Big business men suck the life out of the people who actually do the work and produce those goods. I agree we don't need more taxes. What I feel we need is a living wage for all Americans who work. No person who gets up and contributes to this society through work should be poor, no one person should be allowed to make 4000 times what their hardest working employees make. I think the Democrats would restore some fairness to the system and bring CEO salaries back in line with where they were when we had a growing middle class, storng unions, and fair wages.

I totally agree with you! You need to be blogging for the big guys. Everyone needs to understand this and the importance of this election. I am not Republican, but I really don't think Americans will go wrong this time with a Republican President. Vote McCain-Palin.

First of all, what your referring to is "trickle down economics" and that hasn't worked for no one except for the already rich! So your saying that if we lower the taxes on oil company's then the price of oil will go down. If we lower the taxes on grocery stores then food prices will go down? Small business's are having a hard time because the majority of them sell products that we don't NEED! With the cost of our "needs" going through the roof, people are getting tighter with their money. This basic principle is something the Republicans can't seem to get through their thick skulls. The funny part is that it hasn't worked for the last 8 years but we are supposed to believe that McBush is going to somehow change it. Give me a break.
